How to Disable Chat Reporting on Your Server

Minecraft 1.19.1 introduced chat reporting as a new feature to help moderate multiplayer chats. While chat reporting helps keep server chats safe, it can also lead to players being reported and possibly suspended or permanently banned from all Minecraft servers and Realms. Fortunately, it is possible to disable chat reporting through the use of mods and plugins.

Disabling Chat Reporting Using Mods One Forge mod that can disable chat reporting is No Chat Reporting. To use this mod, you will need to ensure that your server is running Forge 1.19.1.

 How to Disable chat reporting using mods

  1. Download the No Chat Reporting mod from a trusted source, as curseforge.

  2. Install the mod on your PC by following the instructions provided with the mod.

  3. Install the mod on your server by uploading the mod file to the "mods" folder in your server's main directory, using the WebFTP, follow this tutorial if you don't know how to upload mods on your server.

  4. Start your server and verify that chat reporting is disabled.

Disabling Chat Reporting Using Plugins Alternatively, you can disable chat reporting using plugins. There are several plugins available that can disable chat reporting, including EssentialsX, ChatControl, and ChatEx.

  1. Install a chat plugin of your choice on your Minecraft server, follow this tutorial if you don't know how to install plugins on your server.

  2. Configure the plugin to disable chat reporting.

  3. Restart your server and verify that chat reporting is disabled.

If you want to re-enable chat reporting in the future, you can follow the instructions provided with the mod or plugin you used to disable it.
